CalaisFALA

CalaisFALA é um projeto com refugiados da Síria que começou no Campo de Refugiados de Calais em 2015.

Durante o programa de uma semana de duração no último Setembro, quinze estudantes fizeram um número de filmes. Alguns mostraram a realidade da vida no campo, outros falaram de suas histórias pessoais. Dos quinze estudantes, um grupo principal de oito despontou com os quais o WFC tem mantido contato. À medida que suas jornadas avançaram, esses cineastas amadores continuaram fazendo filmes.

Em Fevereiro de 2016, o WFC convidou os quatro que conseguiram chegar à Inglaterra para ir a Londres para o evento do WFC de encerramento do projeto. Uma seleção de filmes foi exibida e um cineasta, Abu Waleed, cantou. Foi incrivelmente emocionante. Do outro grupo principal de membros, três estão agora na Alemanha e um na Áustria. O WFC pretende continuar seguindo a jornada desses homens enquanto eles lentamente reconstroem suas vidas em um novo país e quem sabe talvez, até realizem seus sonhos de voltar para casa.
