Male Perspective
Young men from Khayelitsha talk openly about HIV in their community, how they cope with the persistent fear of contracting HIV and how this affects their approach to sex and relationships. This open and staightforward discussion is testiment to the power of grassroots filmmaking as these men feel comfortable enough being filmed by members of thier own comunity, to share opinions that they might otherwise hide. Although shocking in parts, this conversation should be required viewing for anyone designing or administering HIV prevention solutions in these communities.
