Nel'in 2011
In 2011 WFC returned to the village of Nel'in in 2011. Ne'lin is located in the rural area around Ramallah. After running a fictional film programme in 2010, the team ran a second training programme, this time in documentary film making. Students were young people from the Qattan Foundation Community Centre. Nidal Atrash lead the team and Nida' Rishmawi project managed. The team traveled from Bethlehem to Ramallah every Saturday for three months. Although at the time, Ne'lin was involved in a passive resistance campaign against the construction of the wall between Israel and Palestine, students were encouraged to make films about more general issues. This was to give them a break from the conflict and allow them think about their community in new ways.
